Help! My E-cig isn’t producing enough vapour

Are you not getting enough vapour when you use your E-cig?

Believe it or not, this is a pretty common complaint – and there are a number of reasons for why it might be happening.

One of the biggest misconceptions that people have about electronic cigarettes is how they work. A lot of the time, people think of E-cigs like they do analog cigarettes. They might try to use them the same way, and experience disappointing results when it doesn’t turn out the way they’ve envisioned it.

E-cigs are definitely a different experience than cigarettes – but thankfully, there are some things that you can do about a lack of vapour production. In a sense, this is one of the best things about E-cigs. Since they’re literally mechanical and electronic devices, you’ve got more than a few different choices if things don’t work right.

Here are some tips for what to try if you start to experience a problem with this aspect of your vaping experience.

1.) Check the battery

The most common cause of a lack of vapour production is a low battery. Once your device begins to run out of juice, you’re definitely going to notice a lack of vapour – so replace your battery or put it on the charger to fix this problem.

2.) Check for airflow problems

Sometimes, the area around where you attach the cartomizer or clearomizer to the battery can get dirty and/or clogged up – and this can definitely cause vapour production problems! Without good airflow, you’re probably not going to get to utilize your E-cig at its fullest potential – so make sure that you check this area of the device and clean it if it ends up getting dirty.

3.) Check your E-liquid

Running low on E-liquid can also cause vapour problems – so make sure to check your cartridge or tank to ensure that you don’t need to refill it. Sometimes, topping your E-cig off may be all that’s required to drastically increase your vapour production and get you the quality of vape that you’ve been looking for.

4.) Your atomizer might be deteriorating

If you’re using an E-cig with a cartomizer, remember that they don’t last forever. The atomizer on the inside of these small refills can tend to deteriorate with time, so even if you’ve refilled it with liquid, there’s a chance that it’s not producing enough vapour because the atomizer just isn’t working as well as it used to.

If this happens, you might just need to throw the cartomizer away and order a new set.

If nothing in this list works, then there is a small possibility that you’ve bought a low-quality device. If the device fails to produce a sufficient amount of vapour right from the beginning, then there is a very good chance that it’s either not a very good E-cig, or that you received a faulty model.

If this ends up being the most likely possibility, then you might want to contact the seller and see if you can arrange an exchange or a return. If the product is faulty, then you’re probably covered by a warranty that’ll help you to get your money back. If the product simply isn’t very good in general, then you might be able to make use of a money back guarantee to either exchange or return it.

Information! At any rate, don’t give up on E-cigs because of one bad experience! There are a ton of different E-cig brands, models, and devices out there to choose from – so if this was your first experience, don’t get discouraged!

Something to remember is that not all devices will produce the same amount of vapour, so if you’re after a true cloud experience then a box mod might be the answer.
