Gamucci E-Cig Review
Introduction – Gamucci E-Cig Review
Gamucci is an E-cig brand that is based in London, though they also have offices in the United States and in Asia. At first glance, we noticed two things that seemed to stand out when we started to research this product. For one, they offer some very low prices on both starter kits and refills.
Two, they don’t seem to carry as many products as some other brands that are out there. Most brands carry at least four or five different mini E-cig starter kits, just to appeal to a wider range of customers and to offer products in several price ranges. This brand, however, carries only two starter kits.
Initially, we wondered if Gamucci really had the product diversity to appeal to a wide range of different customers. Of course, what is more important than diversity and quantity of different products is the quality of the products that are available. In this Gamucci e-cig review, we are going to discuss this balance and see if this E-cig company does a good job of maintaining it.
Pros and Cons
Here are some initial pros and cons of Gamucci products.
- Prices are pretty low when compared to other E-cig brands out there
- They offer quite a few different flavours
- Battery life isn’t so great
- Vapour production isn’t the best
- Flavours leave a bit to be desired where taste is concerned
- They don’t really offer a money back guarantee of any kind
What products/accessories can be purchased?
Gamucci carries two starter kits. One is called the ‘Micro USB Starter Kit’, and comes with 1 battery, 1 USB charger, and 1 cartomizer. The other starter kit is called the ‘Micro Deluxe Starter Kit’, and comes with 4 cartomizers, 2 batteries, a USB charger, and a wall charger. They also carry disposable E-cig minis in both Original Tobacco and Menthol flavours. Of course, they also carry extra cartomizers in various different flavours, as well as extra batteries and chargers.
The simple truth is that Gamucci probably carries one of the smallest (if not the smallest) line of products that we have ever seen. This isn’t necessarily a criticism, but it is true.
Package and Design
Gamucci products seem professionally designed and attractively packaged. They come in a nice box that seems well thought out. The products look relatively realistic.
The minis are the same color as most regular, tobacco-filled E-cigs, which should appeal to those who are looking for a familiar electronic option that will feel realistic.
Unfortunately, many of Gamucci’s positive attributes cease after you have placed your order. While the prices are great and the products look professional, the battery performance is probably the first negative that most users will notice. These batteries simply don’t seem to last as long as they should. You reviewers and users seem to agree that you will definitely be lucky if you get more than an hour out of a single charge, which isn’t that great when you compare it to other brands.
Vapour production is another area where Gamucci seems to fall behind. For one, reviewers and users alike seem to agree that inhaling and activating the battery on these products is more difficult than it should be… but that vapour production is also very disappointing for how much work it takes to activate the battery. They do work alright once you get used to them, of course, but you will likely not experience a truly satisfying amount of vapour, especially if you are used to other brands that do a much better job.
On a positive note, Gamucci does offer a fairly wide array of flavours. They offer basic tobacco and menthol flavours, as well as options like cherry, apple, vanilla, coffee, and grape. They also offer very good prices on their refills. In fact, where refills are concerned, this brand is difficult to beat on price.
The downside to this, however, is that a lot of reviewers have complained that the flavours didn’t taste extremely good. It should be noted, though, that taste is really a matter of preference, and that what one person likes may not appeal to the next person, and so on.
Gamucci offers varying nicotine levels, depending upon what flavour you order. They offer menthol flavours in 1.6% and 2.2%, and tobacco flavours in 1.6%, 2.2%, 1.1%, 0.6%, and 0%. Their specialty flavours are all 1.6%.
About The Company
Gamucci is based in London, though they also have offices in the US and Asia. They call themselves ‘pioneers of innovative electric smoking products’, and they have invested a lot into the research and development of their products.
They also offer a 30 day warranty on products that do not work upon arrival.
Value for the money
To start off, we have to admit that Gamucci is a tough company to beat on price. There are not many E-cig companies out there who offer prices as slow as those offered by this E-cig retailer. They offer great prices on refill cartomizers as well… and this is probably why they have as large of a customer base as they do.
With that being said, price is one of the few positives that we see in this product. Many reviewers and users seem to agree that, despite the low costs of Gamucci products, vapers may find that it is more worth their money to go with a company that offers a bit more quality. Their products do work, and it is not necessarily that they are low in quality, but that they just don’t hold up where performance is concerned when put against other brands that cost a little bit more. Vapour production, battery life, the money back guarantee, and the range of products offered are all areas where you may find more for your money in other brands.
Running costs of Gamucci products are incredibly inexpensive. One pack of 3 cartomizers sells for £6.99. At somewhere around 370 puffs per cartomizer, this is a pretty incredible deal that will save you a TON of money in the long run… especially when you compare it to what you would pay for traditional tobacco-filled cigarettes, which average 10 puffs per cigarette.
In the end, Gamucci’s prices cannot be beat… but are the decreased vapour production, the lack of product diversity, and the less than average battery life worth the cut in price? This is up to the buyer. If you are looking for a low-cost option that will save you money, then this is probably the brand for you. But if you are looking for better vapour production, longer battery life, or a greater variety of products to choose from, then you may be better off saving your money and spending a little bit more on a different brand.
This E-cig brand definitely does some things right… but they sacrifice a bit of quality for the lower cost.
