JAC Vapour Series-E Review
The tank is a fantastic piece of vaping technology. It’s solidly built, looks nice, and is able to be broken down and cleaned/replaced part by part.
JAC Vapour Series-E Review
Jac Vapour has been operating globally as an e-cigarette producer since 2010 – so they’ve definitely been in the game for a long time, and they’ve done a fantastic job of maintaining a solid lineup of products. Their products have always had a reputation for being technologically relevant, while simple and user-friendly to operate – so I’m always pumped to get an opportunity to take a look at one of their new products.
In this review, we’re going to be looking at the Series-E Starter Kit from JAC Vapour – which is basically an eGo kit that comes with pretty much everything you need to get started. Or course, JAC Vapour offers a few different Series-E starter kits, all of them with slight differences – though the components and the basic design of the kit remains pretty similar throughout the collection.
So let’s get to it. Here’s a look at the Series-E, and some information that might help you to decide if it could be worth the money for you.
Pros and Cons
Here are the initial, basic pros and cons that I discovered while looking over the Series-E Starter Kit from JAC Vapour.
- The product seem well-made and attractive
- The battery is made of high-quality components and packs quite a bit of power for the size
- The battery life is pretty good
- The tank is solid and attractive, and contains a number of intuitive features
- It produces a lot of vapour
- The price point may be a big higher than what some E-cig users are interested in paying
- It might be a bit intimidating for first-time E-cig users until they figure out how to use it
What’s in the starter kit?
The Series-E starter kit comes with the following…
- 1 bottle of E-liquid
- 1 carry case
- 1 tank
- 1 USB charger
- 1 spare coil
- 1 Series-E 1000 mAh Battery
- 1 beauty ring

You have a few different voltage settings with the Series-E battery – 3.7 volts, 4.2 volts, and 4.8 volts. Replacing coils is easy, and can be done by simply removing a few parts from the tank. Coils of different types can be used, and the product itself comes with two pretty nice options. You’ll probably be replacing this part more often than some of the others, but that’s to be expected – and you won’t be disappointed with its ease-of-use.
The airflow control on this model is also definitely better those previously released by JAC Vapour. The system consists of a series of air-holes and a rotating ‘bearing’ with a slot that covers either some, all, or none of them, allowing you to leave as many open as you want. The bearing itself is nice and tight, so you won’t have to worry about it slipping and changing by accident (as may have been the case with previous models).
The threading fits together really well. You won’t have a problem with it coming apart or getting loose – which can sometimes be an issue with cheaper products.
As far as the overall construction is concerned, this product seems bullet-proof. It’s sturdy, strong, and seems capable of withstanding the rigors of daily us – though it also looks awesome. I’d definitely carry this around with me, and wouldn’t be embarrassed to use it in public.

The battery on this starter kit comes with pretty standard 510 threading – meaning that it should be pretty easy to find and use other parts with it. 510 is a fairly popular eGo threading at the moment – so it’s always nice to find kits that fit it. Buying replacement parts, even from a different company, shouldn’t be a problem with the Series-E – and that’s always a good thing.
What we think of this kit
Some people have said that the Series-E is a more complicated eGo, and as such, it’s more suited to advanced users. And while I can see that advanced users would definitely like it, I think that it’s also fair to say that this kit could be used by vapers of any level. There are a few different controls to play with – but they’re simple to use and could definitely be mastered quickly – even by a beginner.
For that reason, I would probably recommend this kit to both beginners and to more advanced users. It’s solidly built, works well, offers quite a few customization features (voltage, airflow, etc.), and comes with a powerful battery that’ll work with the tank to produce a quality flavour with plenty of vape to spare.
Appearance and Feel
As far as the appearance is concerned, I would give this product a definite 5 stars. It’s sleek, modern, and metallic. It’s not so big that it looks strange, but it’s also large enough that it really breaks out of the ‘cigarette’ style-mold – which I feel is a good thing. I like it when companies really forgo the traditional cigarette look, and this product definitely does that.
As far as the feel is concerned, this E-cig is sturdy and rugged. It’s not so heavy that it’s cumbersome – but it’s solidly built – and anyone holding it would no-doubt agree with me on that.
All in all, I give it two thumbs up in this department. JAC Vapour definitely deserves it!
One definite highlight of this kit is the battery life. If properly charged, you can expect a battery to last you at least a day, if not more – even with pretty regular use. It only takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to charge it – so the tradeoff is definitely worth it. For the amount of power you get, this kind of battery life is definitely worth the money.
The tank is also a fantastic piece of vaping technology. It’s solidly built, looks nice, and is able to be broken down and cleaned/replaced part by part – which is definitely not something that you see in every tank nowadays.
The beauty ring was an interesting component to this kit. It’s basically a space-filler that sits between the tank and the battery. It helps to fill the gap between the two, and increases the overall ‘streamlined’ look of the device. It’s a small detail – but it definitely makes a cosmetic difference.
As far as vapour production is concerned – I felt that the Series-E was definitely on-point. There’s no problem with vapour production on this product! The flavour is also really nice. It definitely doesn’t taste burnt or bland or anything like that.
I know that it sounds cheesy, but I didn’t really see much in the way of drawbacks for this product. Of course, nobody would ever mind a stronger battery or getting a car charger along with the USB charger that’s included in the kit – but all in all, I couldn’t complain much about what you get in the Series-E Starter Kits.
The product is a bit on the expensive side – but it’s also important to remember that this is a well-built kit that’s going to last you a long time. In the long run, it’ll probably save you money to purchase this kit over some other cheap eGo option.
Additional recommended products from this company
If I was going to recommend another product from this company, it would probably be their E-liquid. They offer plenty of different flavours, and their liquid has a reputation for being exceptionally well-made. Plus, it tastes fantastic! They even have a line of UK-made E-liquid that’s especially delicious.
Another thing that I would probably encourage E-cig users to look at on the JAC Vapour website are their E-pipes. They carry two different models, and both of them are very highly recommended!
