Nicotine Free E-Cigarettes

Nicotine Free E-Cigarettes

Many people associate electronic cigarettes with nicotine, and for good reason. To put it very honestly, E-cigs were first developed with the intention of replacing regular analog tobacco cigarettes. As such, they’ve come to be known predominantly as nicotine delivery devices.

But there’s a lot more to the story than that.

E-cigs have been making huge strides as of late. They’ve been taking up more and more of the market-share in the smoking/tobacco industry, despite the fact that they’re tobacco-free and use no open flame or smoke to operate.

E-cigs basically work by vapourizing E-liquid into a vapour, which takes the place of the smoke. But often, this E-liquid still contains nicotine – so they essentially act as nicotine delivery devices, but do so without tobacco or smoke.

But despite what many people think, E-cigs also come with a nicotine free option as well. In fact, there are a lot of E-liquids out there that you can buy without any nicotine at all.

This may seem counter-intuitive, but you’d be surprised by how popular this trend is becoming. Nicotine-free vaping might seem like a strange concept, but there are a number of reasons for why someone might want to take up the habit.

Because nicotine is addictive

If you take nicotine out of the equation where vaping is concerned, you end up with a habit that’s not only pleasant and tasty, but also that’s non-addictive. Without nicotine to make E-liquid addictive, it’s just flavoured vapour.

Because vaping is a zero-calorie habit that tastes good

Vaping certainly tastes good, especially if you start getting into the specialty flavours. Some people actually use vaping to help them with their snacking habit – and in these cases, nicotine isn’t even a necessary part of the equation.

Buying and vaping a nicotine-free E-liquid to help replace your snacking habit is actually usually more effective than you might realize. I have friends who have implemented this strategy quite successfully, and have even done so myself on more than one occasion.

Because working toward a zero-nicotine E-liquid can help you to get off of nicotine

One pretty common strategy among ex-smokers is to start vaping a higher nicotine strength, but then to work your way down toward zero. Eventually, as you use the very specific nicotine strengths of E-liquid to scale back on your nicotine habit, you’ll come to a place where you can just vape – and might even decide to move past that as well. This can help you to wean yourself off of a very addictive substance without using tobacco.

Of course, E-cigs, as of right now, cannot be advertised as smoking cessation devices – but that doesn’t keep smokers from using them as such. Most people, when directly asked, would rather give up smoking than to continue doing it.

But this is a tough struggle, because nicotine is extremely addictive.

Because there are thousands of different E-liquids to try – and most of them can be obtained without nicotine

You certainly don’t need to vape a nicotine-infused e-liquid to benefit from vaping. There are literally thousands of awesome flavours to choose from – and you can buy many of them without any nicotine at all.

This can provide you with all of the benefits without presenting any of the downsides. You won’t get hooked on it, you won’t end up addicted to nicotine, and you won’t find yourself needing to buy E-cigs just to get a ‘fix’. You can enjoy it for the pleasant taste instead of forcing yourself into it just because of your cravings.

In conclusion

E-cigs can definitely fill a role as nicotine delivery devices, but there is more to the habit than that. E-liquids come in a broad spectrum of different flavours and varieties, and it’s important to remember that nicotine is only a very small part of what vaping has to offer. Your choice of E-liquid will depend upon your individual circumstances and preferences, but keep in mind that you don’t need to accept nicotine as a regular part of your vaping habit if you would rather avoid it.
