SMOK Brit one Mega Kit review
This device really does provide a lot of power in such a small package.
Based on the packaging and stats alone, this looked to be the type of kit that could be expected to pack quite a punch – so we were more than excited to try it out.
This product is made by SMOK, which is one of our favourite manufacturers – and it even states on the box that it has an ‘intended wattage’ for clouds – which was something that we’ve not really seen before on packaging for other E-cigs.
This intrigued us… but did the product live up to the hype?
Here’s what we found out.
Pros and Cons
Here are the basic pros and cons that we discovered about this kit over the course of our research…
- We loved the design
- The coil generates a TON of vapour!
- It was sturdy and well-constructed
- It produced an awesome flavour
- It was simple to fill and operate
- There is no variable wattage or voltage, so you won’t really be able to ‘control’ your vaping experience to that extent
- There was a bit of ‘splattering’ that reached our lips when we activated the device. It wasn’t too bad… but it was something to note.
What’s in the starter kit?
In the starter kit, you get the battery, the tank, a spare glass tube for the tank, a warranty card, an extra coil (the tank also comes with one already fitted inside of it – which means that you actually get two coils with this product), a micro-USB charging lead, a bag of spare o-ring seals, and an instruction manual.[print_responsive_slider_plus_lightbox id=”55″]
The box was well designed and well-constructed. It had two QR codes on the side that you could use to download an app that goes along with the device. More and more vape pens nowadays are Bluetooth compatible, which means that you can use your phone to manipulate some of the controls… which is awesome.
The back of the box had a nice rundown of the specs included on it – which was nice.
Inside of the box, the tank, battery, and extra glass were located nicely in the top tray, with the rest of the accessories found down beneath.
The battery was quite short and stumpy, really. It is classed as a MISUB PLUS battery, which was interesting to us. But… it’s rated at 2,000mAh, which is pretty good for something that looks so small. It’s about the size of an 18650, but it’s quite sturdy, heavy, and robust. The charger input is also located on the side, so you can leave it standing up while charging.
The tank comes fitted with an atomizer coil and a 2.0ml capacity glass tube. It has a removable plastic drip-tip that has a nice cone to it – as well as a double o-ring seal. At least half of the tank is taken up by the coil – which is quite large, really.
One great thing about this pen is that it fits with new compliance standards by holding only 2ml of liquid. That might not seem like a lot in comparison to some other tanks on the market – but it will be legal when all of the new TPD regulations come into effect.
The coils that come with this kit are 0.4 ohm, so it’s sub-ohm capable coming right out of the gate!
Filling the tank is super easy. You just put the E-liquid down inside along the sides, being careful not to get any into the coil. The top of the tank screws off, so it is technically a top-fill design – though it’s not quite as easy to fill as some of these newer ‘flip top’ top-fill tanks that have been coming out lately.
One really good thing about this particular tank is that you can’t really overfill it, because the coil actually sits down inside the tank while you fill it up… so you don’t have to try to save room for it by only filling the glass up to a certain point.
Turning on the pen is pretty simple. You just click it five times, and the halo light around the firing button will light-up – and then you’re good to go!
- Voltage Range: 3.4-4.2 Volts

- 2000mAh battery
- Product dimensions: 24.5x75mm
- Stainless steel tank

- 510 threading

What did we think of this kit?
For the vape test on this kit, we used an Apollo E-liquid in the Schmoozie brand, called ‘Very Berry Banana.’ It’s a max VG E-liquid that we’ve really been liking lately, and we figured that it would probably work wonders with the sub-ohm setup of the SMOK Brit One Mega Kit.
We also opened up the variable airflow control all the way.
First off, the taste was delicious. We really loved how this E-liquid tasted in the SMOK Brit One Mega Kit, and we loved how the 100% VG E-liquid behaved in this pen.
We also had a lot more vapour coming out of this pen than we ever expected. The coil that comes with it works wonders – and provides an immense amount of vapour.
Attention! We did feel a bit of splattering and popping in the mouthpiece, which is usually an indication that hot E-liquid is splattering up and out of the atomizer – which is fairly common, but a bit unpleasant. It wasn’t too bad with this device though – and you could always change the drip tip if it really bothered you.
We honestly really loved the design of this E-cig. You would think that a little powerhouse like this would be larger and sport a bigger battery than it does. But the fact that it kicks out so much power, while also fitting nicely in the palm of the hand, is pretty impressive.
We would have no problem vaping on this pen all day long, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, but powerful sub-ohm vape pen that will get them off on the right foot… with a powerful battery, and massive, tasty clouds of vapour to boot!
Appearance and Feel
Once fully assembled, the vape pen itself looks great. It’s a bit on the short side – but that doesn’t keep it from looking nice. It looks really attractive with the stainless steel finish, and when you add the tank to the battery, it really fits quite well in your hand.
It is quite heavy and hefty – but that didn’t bother us at all. There is a lot of power packed into a little package with this pen… so it’s reasonable to think that it’s going to be a bit heavier as a result.
The airflow controller on this tank was really nice. It had quite a bit of friction, and certainly didn’t move around or slide out of place during use.
This pen was made mostly from plastic, metal, and glass. The construction was very sturdy! In fact, we were quite impressed with this aspect of the device.
- Ease of Use
It doesn’t get much easier to use than the SMOK Brit One Mega Kit. It’s pretty much a turn-on-and-vape type device. Loading it with E-liquid is easy, as is operating it. It’s a one-button system, but it’s powerful enough that even more advanced users would likely love it.
The best thing about this pen is that it provides so much power in such a small package. It’s really portable and easy to hold on to – and yet, it really packs in some serious power and creates some massive clouds of vapour.
The biggest drawback to this product is probably that it doesn’t give you the option to adjust the wattage or the voltage. But then again, that’s sort of what makes this device so simple and straightforward – so we really can’t knock it too much for not coming with those types of features.

Additional recommended products
SMOK sells a number of products and accessories on their official website – but you can also buy SMOK branded products from a number of other E-cig retailers, including JacVapour – which is one of our favourite E-cig retailers yet.
Apollo also sells some awesome E-liquids, and maintains quite an extensive inventory of specialty options. We found that a max VG liquid worked very well in this device, so that’s what we would recommend if you’re going to be buying some liquids for the Brit One Mega.
