Vapestick Review UK
Introduction – Vapestick Review UK
Vapestick is an electronic cigarette brand marketed worldwide, both in-stores and over the internet… though their headquarters is in London. The word that best describes our initial first-impression of the Vapestick website was definitely ‘impressive’. See if our Vapestick review helps….
Their website in itself was attractive and well laid-out, but what caught our attention the most was the variety of products that they offered. It definitely seems like this company has a product for everyone, whether you used to smoke cigarettes and are looking to quit or are just interested in getting into vaping in general.
They also host a helpful FAQ section on their website, as well as a glossary and a blog.
Pros and Cons
Here are some of the initial pros and cons of Vapestick Products.
- They are high in quality
- They carry a variety of different types of products and flavours
- They offer great battery life
- They taste fantastic
- Prices are just a little bit high
- Some users and reviewers have complained that having the Vapestick brand name boldly printed on everything was a bit garish… though this of course didn’t hamper usability in any way
- Warranty and money back guarantee are not the best
What products/accessories can be purchased?
You will find a wide assortment of products on this brand’s company website. They offer several starter kits, ranging from the smaller Single XL Starter Kit to the Next-Gen XL. The Single XL Starter Kit comes with 1 of Vapestick’s extra-large batteries, 2 cartomizers, and 1 USB charger. The Next-Gen XL, on the other hand, comes with an impressive 2 rechargeable batteries, 1 slimline charger case, 5 cartomizers, 2 USB charger leads, (1 for the charge case and 1 for the batteries) and a user manual.
They also carry disposable electronic cigarettes, refill cartomizers, refill e-liquids, nicotine free V-shishas, and larger rechargeable E-cig options with larger batteries that can hold more e-liquid. We were especially impressed with the V-shishas, which were basically a pack of five nicotine-free flavoured disposable E-cigs that come with five different flavours… blueberry, apple, grape, strawberry, and peach.
Package and Design
Our initial impression of the packaging was a positive one. Some users have said that the Vapestick logo is a bit overused on the products. We can definitely see what people are saying when they lodge this complaint, as their logo IS very predominantly printed on everything… but at the same time, it doesn’t hamper the effectiveness of the product. In fact, it could be seen as a positive thing that Vapestick is taking steps to help their products look less like cigarettes and more like E-cigs, whether or not this was their original intention.
You can expect to get about two hours of vaping out of the Vapestick minis, which isn’t too bad when you consider the fact that they utilize a smaller battery. When you get into the larger products, however, like the Vapestick Max, then you will find that battery life becomes much longer. The Max can often last all day without a charge (this, of course, depends upon how much you are going to actually be using it). The Max is also larger and looks even less like a regular cigarette and more like an E-go style E-cig, so if you are going for something realistic than the Max probably wouldn’t be the product for you.
Vapestick also carries a portable charging case that can greatly enhance the life of your batteries. If you carry two batteries and a PCC and keep the case charged every night, then odds are good that even the heaviest vapers will find that they have enough power to get them through the day.
Vapour production on these E-cig products is good. Whether you are vaping with the minis, the Max, or the Shishas, you will be impressed by the amount of vapour. They also offer a decent throat hit.
This brand sells refill cartomizers in original, tobacco, menthol, apple, cherry, and vanilla flavours. Their disposable V-Shishas come in a pack containing five different flavours… blueberry, apple, grape, strawberry, and peach.
But Vapestick also offers V-liquid, which is basically e-liquid that you can use to refill the Max clearomisers. These come in peach, blueberry ice, caramel, butterscotch, red grape, strawberry, and bubblegum flavours.
They definitely get kudos for offering such a wide variety of different flavours. Between the Shishas, the minis, and the Max, there are quite a few specialty flavours to choose from. Whether you enjoy tobacco flavour or are more of a ‘specialty’ vaper, odds are good that you will find something that will appeal to you on the Vapestick website.
All of their refill cartomizers come in four basic tobacco strengths… 0%, 1.1%, 1.8%, and 2.4%. The V-Shishas are nicotine free, and the other disposables all come with the 1.8% strength.
About The Company
Vapestick is a wholesaler, retailer, and manufacturer of electronic cigarettes, though it is clear that they pride themselves on producing and retailing premium quality products. They are a founding member of ECITA, which stands for the European Trade Association for the Electronic Cigarette Industry… and as such, they always abide by the ECITA’s guidelines and regulations. Some major retailers that currently carry Vapestick products include Harrods, Tesco, Argos, Costco, Makro, and Londis.
Value for the money
This company does offer value for the money, especially if you are looking for something like the V-shishas or the Max. Their minis, however, are also competitively priced (if a bit on the high side), and offer great vapour and flavour. Vapestick does a good job of offering different Nicotine strengths, and also maintains a very thorough and informative website. They could do a bit better with customer support and with their warranties, though overall they really offer a high quality product that has received many fantastic reviews among both users and reviewers alike.
In the long run, Vapestick products will definitely save you money when compared to the running costs of analog cigarettes. According to their website, each disposable cartomizer supplies about 300 puffs of vapour, which is the equivalent of about 30 cigarettes. These come in boxes of 4 and cost £7.99 per box. Of course, you may also have to replace batteries over time, as even rechargeable batteries break down eventually… though these are not consistent recurring costs like refill cartomizers are.
Vapestick is a great company that offers a truly impressive array of vaping products. They carry alternative E-cig products like the V-shisha, the regular E-cig minis, and even offer an E-go style called the Vapestick Max. Regardless of your vaping experience, you will probably be able to find a starting kit or a product that will fit your needs with this company.
Of course, E-cigs themselves are a much safer alternative to traditional tobacco-filled cigarettes, and Vapestick-brand products are no exception. If you are looking to kick your analog habit and to replace it with something that will take their place, then this is definitely a brand to check out.
